Receiving care from a Doctor of Physical Therapy means that you are getting seven years of education in health science, exercise science, rehabilitation and personal training wrapped into one provider to address your rehab and performance goals. As Doctors of Physical Therapy, we are qualified to treat any musculoskeletal pain including LBP, neck pain, arm or leg pain at any joint, sciatica, tendinopathies, post surgical care (joint replacements, meniscectomy, spine fusions, RTC repairs), headaches, whiplash, balance deficits, vertigo, as well as qualified to train for returning to sport, weight lifting for strength and functional fitness, and running training.

At Harbor Performance and Rehab, we believe everyone deserves a musculoskeletal provider who can be their first resource for addressing pain and performance. You can skip that doctor's office visit as we don't require a referral, and come straight to us to begin working immediately on your rehab or training. We strive to be the provider that will address your acute issues and the ones you come back to visit every few months to check in and receive more education for keeping those aches and pains at bay, or to tweak your training for maximum returns. Call or message today to learn how we might be able to serve you best.

Dr. Tom is the founder of Harbor Performance and Rehab. He, his wife, and daughter have lived in Gig Harbor since Jan. 2023 and have fallen in love with the PNW and the Gig community. Dr. Tom is originally from TN where he went to East Tennessee State University to receive his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science before he moved to Utah to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

When Tom isn’t in the gym treating patients, you can find him with his wife and daughter getting ice cream in town, hiking and getting lost somewhere in the Olympics or around Rainier, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or grabbing a beer with friends in Gig. Feel free to say hi when you spot him in town!
